Workshop - Fused Glass Mushrooms with The Glass Needle

AGE - Adults and Children over 14 years old

WHEN - Saturday 30th April 2022

TIME - 11am to 1pm

WHERE - Geek Bothy, 1 High Street, Kemnay, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, AB51 5NB

COST - £45 per person

You will learn how to cut a circle from glass and then you will mix coloured glass powders with water to create a 'slurry' which you can then use to decorate your glass with.

You will be required to wear dust masks when working with the powdered glass, which I will provide.

The mushrooms will then be fired overnight, shaped and copper piping added. They will be ready for collection the following week.

You will make 2 mushrooms

Included: All tools, materials, tuition and a small snack.

Please note that workshops are non refundable and dates can not be swapped, you are welcome to give your place to someone else, it doesn't have to be the named person that booked the workshop attending. If the workshop is cancelled by the maker and/or Geek Bothy a full refund will be issued.
